Thomas R. Hilder, Department of Music, Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Trondheim, Norway

Thomas R. Hilder is associate professor in ethnomusicology at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). His research, teaching, and outreach projects are carefully guided by feminist, queer, and postcolonial perspectives. He is author of Sami Musical Performance and the Politics of Indigeneity in Northern Europe, editor of Music, Indigeneity, Digital Media, chair of the LGBTQ+ Music Study Group, and chair of Trondheim’s queer choir, Kor Hen.
